Let them be wrong

On this #TrashItThursday, I have a quick blog post so that I can get something important out there to all of you.

I have too many people around me, myself included, who have spent so much time and energy arguing and debating with someone just to prove a point. The time wasted is emotionally, mentally and physically taxing for no reason.

Here is what I am going to say on this issue, let them be wrong. If you are doing something and you feel you are right, walk away from the toxicity of naysayers. Do not waste precious energy arguing. You do not need to prove yourself to anybody. Just be you and just do you. If by chance, you were the one in fact who was wrong, so what, it will serve as a lesson learned. You will grow from the process whereas if you continue to argue a point with someone, it could potentially destroy you.

The takeaway of this blog post is to walk away and save your sanity. It is your life so just let them be wrong and continue on your journey.

Today’s recommended reading is How To Win Friends And Influence People. The more comfortable you are talking to people, the easier it will be to fill your circle with like minded individuals and rid those that are toxic to your life. If you cannot borrow a copy from your local library, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/2niAFaq

If you choose to shop in Amazon, I would greatly appreciate it if you could use the link I have provided. As an Amazon Affiliate, it is possible I can earn a bonus and therefore continue to provide continued content we all enjoy. Thank you in advance!

They want you to fail

Today is #TalkingTuesday and my blog post is about those people around you who consciously and subconsciously are just waiting for you to fail. Shockingly as this may sound, it is not just one person, it is most of the people around you.

You are probably thinking to yourself that most people around you like you and that you are such a nice person so I must not even be talking about you in particular as I write this blog post. Well, I am talking to you and you need to understand what I am about to tell you.

We are programmed from the time we are born to go to school, go to college, get a job and hopefully one day retire. Those of us who dare to decide that we want something different, that we have dreams and aspirations, are looked at as sort of rebels. We become entrepreneurs and we begin to build our own business and in turn what we get are constant naysayers telling us that we are ridiculous for wanting to build a business. They talk and talk and talk and try to shame us by telling us that we need a job to have stability for our families. We are constantly told to get our heads out of the clouds and get that job. These people all around you want you to fail. Many of them may not even know that they want you to fail but they want you to conform as they did. It is a very uncomfortable feeling when people see other people building their dreams and not submitting to societal norms.

The sad part about these people is the fact that there is strength in numbers. You are one person facing people from all directions, people who want you to fail. Sadly, the sheer volume of naysayers often succeed in bringing an entrepreneur down to their level and therefore the entrepreneurs dreams get delayed or even get destroyed.

It is up to you to prove to yourself that you have what it takes to be in control of your own life and keep your eyes on your prize of your journeys end goal. You have to have the inner strength to block out the naysayers, hold your head high and just keep doing you. Do not let these people send you into conformity because you feel there may be some validity in things they say. You only have to remember one thing, if someone appears to be squashing your dream, than they want you to fail so just take a deep breath and walk away.

If you want to learn how to take the bull by the horns than you have to read a great book called Crushing It. This is a book I have recommended before and it is worth recommending again. If you have not gotten it, try and borrow a copy from your local library or maybe from one of your friends. If neither option is available, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/2OHJCFg

If you choose to shop in Amazon, I would greatly appreciate it if you could use the link I have provided. As an Amazon Affiliate, it is possible I can earn a bonus and therefore continue to provide continued content we all enjoy. Thank you in advance!

Be Who You Are

Today’s #MammothMonday falls on March 2nd which is the birthday of Dr. Seuss and in honor of it, I am going to spotlight one of his sayings that is one of my favorites. Dr. Seuss said, “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind”.

For those who mind, you should not. Why do people care about everything that other people think of them? There are over seven billion people on this planet so why on Earth are you going to care what a handful of people think about you? Do not waste energy on these people. Rather than constantly finding these people trolling your feeds, just block them. Your sanity is one click away. Use your one click to block them or use your one click to delete them. It is your choice whether or not you allow these people access to your life. Just rid your life of anyone who does not fit into your picture frame. It is your life and you should be the most special person in your own life. Learn to block or to delete trolls and NOT to indulge them.

For those who matter, you should learn that they are the only group that you should be listening to. The people that matter in your group will never mind if you have a failure yet they will be the ones always cheering you on when you have a victory. These people are the ones however that we ignore or we take for granted because we assume they will always be there. For that reason, we should be ashamed and make an immediate shift to show these people mutual admiration by engaging with them rather than with trolls. We need to learn to appreciate the ones that appreciate us and when we do, it is then that we will flourish and grow.

So although this is a quick blog post, it comes with a huge lesson from Dr. Seuss, BE WHO YOU ARE!

I have a great read to compliment this blog post. The book is called The Greatest You. This is a book that I have recommended before and it is fitting for today. If you have not already gotten this book, see if you can borrow a copy from your local library or from a friend. If neither option is available, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/32Z9Rvv

Is there a difference between help and enabLing

Here we are at another #FundMeFriday and I am going to ask that annoying question that I ask you weekly, did you fund your account today? If you did, fantastic. For those of you who have not, make that deposit now or make that transfer otherwise, in years to come, you will be making telephone calls to borrow money. Even if all you have is $10, make the deposit. Everything will eventually add up to security. There is no amount that is ever too small to deposit into your savings.

As for today’s blog post, I want to talk about the marginal difference between helping someone and enabling that person. I say marginal because most people do not understand that there is a difference.

In short, helping is when you are doing something for someone who cannot do it for themselves. In other words, the help can be for a person who cannot do something or for a person who is temporarily unable to help themselves. These helpful situations are meant to ease the load on people who have been sidelined either temporarily or possibly permanently. Helping these people can sometimes mean the difference of their actual survival.

The fine line comes in with enabling a person. At first it is perceived as help but quickly the frustration will begin to build when you realize that the person only comes to you to clear their path whether in the form of providing housing, providing transportation or providing money on a continuous basis. Areas that they are more than capable of doing for themselves but refuse to or have simply just become accustomed to having people do these things for them. You know you are enabling when the person continuously makes you feel bad if you try to stop the behavior or you refuse to help all together. Another sign that you are enabling a person is if you are the one doing all the work and they not only try to take the glory, they try to blame you for anything that is not going right for them.

Helping someone can bring you satisfaction as well as very needed assistance to the one you are helping but enabling can slowly destroy your life. The person you are enabling will take everything from you, draining you mentally, emotionally and physically. This is the marginal difference you need to be aware of so that you will know for sure if you are helping someone or enabling that person. Do not allow anyone to destroy you because they are hell bent on destroying themselves.

A great book to enjoy along with this blog is a book called Toxic People. I have recommended this book in the past but it is also fitting for today. If you have not already enjoyed this book, try to borrow a copy at your local library or from a friend. Escape to regain balance

Today’s blog post is about throwing away your preconceived notion that relaxing and doing nothing for a while is being lazy. On this #TrashItThursday I want to fill you in on the importance of escaping from the constant grind in order to re-energize.

This is not a difficult blog post to write about or to even understand however, the hard thing is taking the action of inaction. In other words, you must consciously take a break and pull away so that you can regroup and re-energize your mind, body and soul. There is no way to be productive if you have been running marathons in your life whether it was taking the kids to their daily events while doing the shopping and cleaning the house then cooking. Or, whether you are building and growing your business by micro managing every task then collapsing at night. Regardless of what you do, burnout is inevitable.

There is no formula on how often you should take a break. The answer to that questions is totally at your discretion. If you want to lock yourself in a room three hours a day and binge watch something on Netflix than that is what you have to do. Or, if you need to step outside and just breathe as you make one lap around the parking lot, than that is what you must do.

The point is that nobody can go day after day full speed ahead and expect to be productive in life while remaining mentally and physically able bodied. Take as many breaks as you need and relax. Just be lazy. Shut your mind to everything. Take a nap, take a walk, binge watch something, work on a hobby, listen to music or just sit in peace and quiet. Do whatever it is that you need to do and as often as you need to do it in order to progress in life. When you actually implement this into your life, you will see that you are able to get even more done as a relaxed person than you would have been able to accomplished as a burn out.

One of the great ways to release yourself from excessive tasks that make it increasingly more necessary to take breaks is to try and automate as much as your business as possible. This should be a constant goal and you should try to automate as many aspects of your business as you can. A great book to read on this subject is called Automate Your Business Guarantee Your Results. If you cannot borrow a copy of this book, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/31UzcFw

Your personal peace

Once upon a time there was a girl. She tried way too hard to make everyone happy, especially one specific somebody but it came with a high price tag and that price was years of no peace in her life which slowly began to destroy her life literally and figuratively. She struggled with the decision of a broken heart or a lifetime of peace. In the end she realized that although her heart may break at her decision, it would heal and the outcome would be living a lifetime of peace, health and harmony. On this #WisdomWednesday, I hope to make you understand the difference in the above two choices.

A broken heart is extremely painful and we fear that the pain will last forever and we will never heal but the reality is that we will in fact heal and life will go on. We may have a figurative scar on our heart but aside from that, what we will be left with is lessons and relief. What we fail to realize is that if we allow fear to control what we do in our life than, we have no life. You must realize that you are more important than the person or thing inflicting the pain. We must always make ourselves the priority in our own lives in order to be well and to succeed.

As far as peace is concerned, you can live your entire life in harmony once you allow yourself to live in peace. Once you have peace in your life, everything begins to change like your health and your success. When you live in peace, you release any stress that plagues you and you will watch how your health and your life improves. As far as success, when you live in peace, you can think more clearly and therefore make better and more well informed decisions.

Therefore, the point of this blog post today is to let you know that enduring a little heartache in exchange for a lifetime of peace and tranquility is well worth the momentary pain. Just summon your inner strength so that you can conquer the fear that stops you from letting the hurt play itself out.

A perfect read to complement today’s blog post is called The Book Of Joy. I have recommended this book in the past but if you had not gotten around to getting it, I will once again suggest that you borrow a copy from your local library or from a friend. If neither option is available, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/2sJZjDx

There is nothing behind you

Happy #TalkingTuesday. Today’s blog post is being written to remind you that good, bad or indifferent, you cannot change anything in the past, nothing, absolutely nothing. You can however write your entire story going forward.

We get lost within our own minds trying to unravel the why, the ifs and the how’s from our past with absolutely no gain for our current life. You have to learn to stop dragging the past along your journey because the weight is slowing you down and slowly killing your progress in life and it is probably killing you mentally, emotionally and physically. If you are having a hard time releasing yourself from the ties binding you to the past, #TalkingTuesday is the perfect time to make the conscious decision to speak to someone. Maybe you can speak to an impartial friend or maybe you can find a therapist who can help you cut those ties. If you do not want to go to an actual therapist office, nowadays there are virtual therapy sessions that can be done through FaceTime or Skype chats. Whichever forum you like best, the most important thing to remember is that you have to start talking to someone immediately. The longer you prolong the healing, the more damage you will be inflicting on yourself.

You may be wondering what this blog post has to do with building and growing a business as well as heading down a path toward financial freedom and I am here to tell you that when you live in the past and dwell on past circumstances, these actions stop you from all progressions. There is no way whatsoever that you can succeed in anything when you wallow. Please find a way to cut the figurative cord binding you to the past and release yourself into a world of possibilities.

Today I have a perfect reading suggestion for you. For many people, reading is yet another forum that can be used to help you with cutting those ties that bind. The book is a new recommendation called Letting Go. I will suggest as I usually do to go borrow a copy from your local library or from a friend. If neither option is available, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/391sHou

Awesome Freedom

Hi and it is nice to be able to say that we have once again reached another #MammothMonday and I can truly say that thanks to my continuous journey along my personal path toward financial freedom, Monday’s are just another day on the calendar without any dread whatsoever. Today I have a blog post that inadvertently but methodically touches on this topic.

How many millions of times have you heard people talk about the dreaded arrival of Monday? How many millions of times have you heard the whining about how fast the weekend just flew by? The reason you have heard these things so many endless times is because people are miserable with their work and in their career path. The horror fills them as each Monday approaches and the thought of returning to work fills them with sadness and dread. Life does not have to be this hard and I am going to tell you why.

I have talked about this in the past and I am going to say it again, if you love what you do, everyday is a great day. Of course I am not saying we dance around like idiots singing in lala land but what I am saying is that when you consciously choose to spend your life doing what you love, you are living the dream life that most people think is only a figment of the imagination. Everyone that I know who is working toward their dream and toward financial freedom doing what they love, all have agreed that they would rather make $50000 per year doing what they love than to make $100000 per year existing in a job working to build their bosses dream.

So why do we situate our lives in this rut? One of the main factors that stop people from building and growing their own dreams is other people. You are so worried about what other people will think of you that you let your dreams die. You are so worried people will talk about you and this allows you continue to live your life miserable. You are consumed by the thought of people walking away from you that you completely forget that you are an individual with your own life and your own dreams and you have your own goals as well as you having your own journey that nobody other than you can travel. Stop this insanity. Stop caring about what other people think. Other people are not the ones who have to go home with you. Other people are not the ones who have to pay your bills. Other people do not care what your dreams are. Other people are just that, other people. They are not you. Just do you.

As soon as you start living your life, on your terms, with your dreams, by your rules and surrounded by people of your own choosing, only then will you begin to know what freedom actual feels like. You must stop caring more about what others think of you and start caring more about what you think of yourself. Once you master that, life will fall into place.

Todays reading is a perfect book to complement this blog post. The book is called Control Your Destiny Or Someone Else Will. I have recommended this book in the past but if you had not read it, now is the perfect time. Try and borrow a copy from your local library or from a friend. If neither option is available, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/301sE8s
