Gratitude

On this #TalkingTuesday I would like to make a statement and a comment.

My statement involves yesterday and my missing #MammothMonday blog post. Within a 48 hour period, I was running on about 6 hours of very interrupted sleep and very stressed filled days. Last night I had every intention of posting my blog so I shut my computer down at about 7:00pm and I went upstairs to blog. I sat on my bed, phone and iPad in hand and I literally do not remember anything until I was startled awake at about 3:00am but then I fell back to sleep. This morning I was going to post yesterday’s blog but I thought it would be more important to not pretend that I have it all together because in reality, nobody does and for me to pretend to the people who actually give me their time and audience would be extremely deceitful and I would be creating a reality for you to follow that nobody is able to follow. The point of this statement is to let you know that it is okay for you to be exhausted and it is okay for you to need a break but more importantly it is okay and necessary for you to rest otherwise you will be useless to yourself and to those whom you wish to mentor. Which brings me to my comment.

The comment that I want to make is one of gratitude. I am not sure that I have taken the time yet to thank my almost 10000 “friends” and “followers” across my social media platforms for allowing me a space in your life even if it is in the tiniest state. I did not want to let another day go by without saying that from the bottom of my heart, I thank you and I look forward to spending many years to come engaging with all of you.

In my opinion, I think everyone should spend time living in gratitude as often as possible because doing so will bring you more joy and fulfillment to your life. I would like to recommend a book that I have recommended in the past called Living Gratitude. Please take the time to borrow it and if that is not possible, here is a link to get your own copy from Amazon >>> https://amzn.to/38xquS6

If you choose to shop in Amazon, I would greatly appreciate it if you could use the link I have provided. As an Amazon Affiliate, it is possible I can earn a bonus and therefore continue to provide continued content we all enjoy. Thank you in advance!
